Family vacation in Graubünden:
Discover the Swiss mountains.
The winter landscape in Graubünden offers families both peace and relaxation and plenty of adventure in nature. Whether on skis or sledding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing and ice skating - the family offers are numerous and varied. Various themed trails invite to extensive walks and convey interesting facts about the animal and plant world. The Arosa Lenzerheide ski region has been awarded the "Family Destination" seal of quality and thus distinguishes itself as a particularly family-friendly vacation resort. The offer is specifically geared to the needs and wishes of families, so that young and old can enjoy themselves. The Hotel Schweizerhof has also joined this concept and welcomes you and your family.
Unforgettable family experiences in Lenzerheide
The Lenzerheide vacation region has exciting and varied winter activities in store for the whole family. The cheerful cartoon character Globi with the yellow beak and the red and black checked trousers shows families the most beautiful places in the region. Even in the cold season Globi delights with his children's program: from cross-country skiing taster courses and the Lenzerheide Magic Forest to theater and barbecues together around the Swedish fire. In the children's lands Auarara, Heimberg and Fastatsch children learn skiing in a playful way. If the weather is bad, treat yourself to some time out in our wellness paradise at the Hotel Schweizerhof. The children can have fun in the swimming pool with a great water world. Together with the family you let the evening end comfortably in our vacation apartment.
Sledding with the whole family in Arosa
Off into the snow! Speeding down the mountain into the valley and enjoying the passing snowy landscape: sledding is the classic winter fun for young and old. In Arosa there are three toboggan runs with a total length of 4.7 kilometers at your disposal. Night owls also get their money's worth with night sledging: every Thursday evening at Tschuggen or daily from Prätschli back to the village.
Toboggan run on the Tschuggenberg
The toboggan run starts at Tschuggenberg, past the legendary Tschuggenhütte and ends at the valley station of the Kulm gondola (Innerarosa). The sledge transport is free of charge.
Sledge run Prätschli - Obersee
From Prätschli back to Obersee at breakneck speed. This short run is ideal to string several rounds together. The local bus is free of charge and can be used as often as you like. The post office is only a few minutes walk from the end of the toboggan run.
Sledge run Untersee - Litzirüti
The toboggan run leads through dense fir forest from Arosa to Litzirüti. A run for all those who would like to make the day a little less racy. The Rhaetian Railway (RhB) then takes you back to Arosa.
